Master of Ceremonies

Jim Carino is pleased to accept this year’s role as Master of Ceremonies for the 6th Annual Marian Eucharistic Conference. He considers himself abundantly blessed as a lifelong Catholic and seeks continuous grow and maturity in his faith.

Born in a very (German) Catholic Community of St. Mary’s, PA and attended Catholic elementary and high schools there. He earned a BSME from The Pennsylvania State University and an Executive MBA from the University of Minnesota Carlson Business School.

He married the love of his life, Janice, in December of 1980, who with God’s collaboration, has blessed the family with sons: Blaise, Christopher and John-David.

Stewardship of time and talent efforts within the church: active altar server, lector, Extraordinary Eucharistic Minister and Eucharistic Adoration.

He enlisted his initial volunteer efforts to Catholic Radio in SC in 2008, primarily lending his voice to record prayer readings, and for which he continues today. Locally, he can be heard on 1300 AM WCKI, and via other network stations throughout SC.

He has been employed previously in the automotive glass industry for 26 years, and these last 13 years have been spent in the medical device business with North American Rescue located in Greer, SC.

Jim/family have been members at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Simpsonville, SC since 1998; he has been a long time Director, Lectors there, and a past member of the Pastoral Council.
